This is a small everyday story: a picnic among the vineyards of this house, located in the northern area of Mallorca, facing the Pollença mountains.

SUN & SHADE
The sun is still high, casting playful shadows beneath the thatch of the porch, where Alexandre enjoys imagining stories he tells his mother. The heat is intense, but today the mountains gift us a gentle breeze that stirs the lavender surrounding the pool, bathing everything in its scent.

THE BASKET IN THE KITCHEN.
Preparing the picnic basket in the kitchen is a ritual that Alexandre doesn't miss. While his mother moves back and forth, gathering all the ingredients for an authentic Mallorcan "pa amb oli," Alexandre oversees the operation from the countertop to ensure nothing is forgotten: it has to be perfect.

PICNIC TIME
The sun begins to relent, and now that it's starting to offer some respite, it's time to spread the blanket next to Alexandre's favorite olive tree, by the vineyards. With the magical Pollença light at sunset and the nearly blurred house in the background, one of mother and son's favorite rituals takes place: the picnic.
On the sourdough bread from the village bakery, Alexandre rubs the "ramellet" tomatoes and generously drizzles them with organic olive oil obtained from less than 1 km away from the Pollença bay. But most importantly, he does it all by himself.
